This species inhabits both brackish and freshwater environments, such as ponds, ditches, mangroves, swamps, streams, and canals.
All livestock has undergone a mandatory quarantine period of at least 2 weeks.

Physical Characteristics:
- Size: Typically reaches up to 3 cm in length.
- Coloration: Exhibits a translucent body, often with a subtle iridescent sheen, allowing internal organs to be visible.
Behavior and Compatibility:
- Temperament: Peaceful and social, thriving in groups.
- Tank Mates: Compatible with other small, non-aggressive species such as guppies, tetras, and dwarf gouramis.
Habitat Requirements:
- Tank Size: A minimum of 10 gallons is recommended for a small group.
- Water Parameters:
- Temperature: 24°C to 28°C.
- pH: 7.5 to 8.5.
- Hardness: Prefers moderate to hard water conditions.
- Environment: Prefers a well-planted aquarium with gentle water movement and ample hiding spots.
Diet:
- Omnivorous: Feeds on small crustaceans, insects, and protozoans.
Breeding:
- Reproduction: Egg layers; females carry fertilized eggs near the anal fin before depositing them on plants or spawning mops.
- Incubation: Eggs hatch within 1 to 3 weeks, depending on temperature.

- Provide proof of the deceased livestock, including clear photos or videos.
- Ensure the livestock is still in its original packaging.
Shipping Policy
We strive to ensure that our livestock and plants arrive safely and efficiently. Here are our shipping details:- Livestock and Plant Shipping: We only ship livestock and plants from Monday to Wednesday to prevent them from sitting in the courier's warehouse over the weekend.
- Other Product Shipping: All other products can be shipped from Monday to Friday.
- Courier Services: We use The Courier Guy, with shipping charges ranging from R120 to R500, depending on your order.
- Alternative Shipping Option: We can ship dry goods using the locker-to-locker PUDO service for only R60-R100 depending on your order.
- Local Collections: Local collections in Port Elizabeth are free.
